외국인전형(Foreigner selection)
1. Notices
Application Documents
- All documents (including documents for applicants who have earned a degree abroad and applicants who have foreign citizenship) must be original. Documents written in languages other than English or Korean must be translated into English or Korea, and their notarial certificate of translation (English or Korean) shall be submitted with the original.
- An admission offer will be rescinded if the contents of the documents are untrue to facts, if the submitted documents are forged or altered, or an applicant is unqualified. (Even after admission, if forgery or alteration of documents or lack of qualifications is discovered, admission will be canceled and tuition and other fees paid will not be refunded.)
- Only transcripts issued within the last two years as of the date of application are accepted for language scores. Language proficiency certificates are valid within the last two years from the date of application submission.
- Those who submitted a Certificate of Expected Graduation during the application period must submit an original diploma or certificate of graduation to the Administration Team of the Graduate School by Friday, August 22, 2025. If applicants fail to submit a degree from a sub-program, his/her admission to the Graduate School shall be rejected.
- Submitted application documents will be preserved for a certain period of time and then destroyed in accordance with relevant laws in order to improve the fairness and transparency of the admission process and to provide evidence in accordance with the 「Act on the Management of Public Archives」 and its enforcement ordinance and enforcement rules.
Applicants
- Applicants are responsible for any disadvantages such as cancellation of admission in case of mis-statement, incomplete documents, or failure to complete entry procedures.
- Successful applicants must complete the admission procedures according to the registration schedule and method set by the school. If registration is not completed within the deadline, the admission will be canceled.
- It is mandatory to subscribe to national health insurance upon receiving the notification of an admission offer according to the Ministry of Education's requirement for foreign students to subscribe to medical insurance.
- Withdrawal of application for admission and request for application fee refund are only available during the application period.
- After the application period ends, the application fee and submitted documents cannot be returned.
- If visa issuance is denied by the Ministry of Justice after the notification of an admission offer, admission will be automatically canceled.
- Departments (majors) with few applicants may not select new students. In this case, application fees will be refunded.
- For the matters unstated in this admission guideline, the decision by the Graduate School of Daegu Haany University will apply, and other matters are subject to the decision by Graduate School Committee of Daegu Haany University.

E. Guideline for visa after announcement of successful applicants
- Successful applicants staying in Korea must change their status of stay or extend their period of stay
before the expiration of their period of stay. If they fail to extend stay, they must change their student records (profiles) and leave Korea to their own country. - Successful applicants who are staying abroad and need to apply for a student visa must apply for a student visa at the Korean embassy in their home country. At this time,
applicants must have a passport with a validity of at least 2 years, and if the passport number is changed, the Administration Team of the Graduate School must be notified
immediately. - The Administration Team of the Graduate School will scan the original certificate of admission and send it by e-mail or by mail only for those who have completed tuition
payment and are residing overseas. Those residing overseas must apply for a student visa for themselves at the embassy or consulate of their home country. - Applicants are responsible for such issues as delayed issuance and refusal of visa. If they are unable to enroll due to visa rejection after paying tuition, they must submit
registration waiver documents before the start of the semester to receive a full refund of tuition.
F. Selection (evaluation) of successful applicants
- If the admission committee of interview/oral test rejects an applicant after evaluating the documents, the applicant will be disqualified.
- The criteria for minimum score is less than 60 points in total in interview/oral test.
G. Dormitory: Priority will be given to applicants to dormitory.
