Through specialized research in traditional medicine’s fundamentals and clinical areas, we aim to improve medical education and advance Korean medicine. Simultaneously, we encourage interdisciplinary research centered on traditional medicine and engage research faculty from each field to lay the groundwork for the regional herbal bio-industry, serving as the core of academic research functions.

This institute focuses on academic research related to industrial health and environmental health. Grounded in the Industrial Safety and Health Act, we conduct workplace environment measurements, asbestos surveys, musculoskeletal burden work hazard investigations, and indoor air quality measurements in multi-use facilities as per the Indoor Air Quality Management Act. Furthermore, we provide field training opportunities for students to improve employment rates.
