Daegu Haany University Medical Center has signed hospital designation agreements with companies such as the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Gyeongbuk Taejin Office, Gumi Samsung Electronics, Hynix, and POSCO to promote the health of local workers. For a long time, it has been conducting traditional Korean medicine health check-ups for Hyundai Motor workers and has received significant acclaim.

Daegu Haany University’s Affiliated Korean Medicine Hospital

As a flagship university hospital for Korean medicine in Daegu, it not only serves the residents but also boasts facilities for students’ education and a specialized institute for research in basic and clinical fields of Korean medicine. It also features a specialized center of Gyeongbuk Technopark for the joint development of new technologies and products with industry-academia collaboration.

Affiliated Pohang Korean Medicine Hospital

To expand medical services in the Gyeongbuk and East Sea regions, eight specialized departments, including a stroke clinic, have been established. It emphasizes patient-centered care and is designed with a traditional Hanok interior and a homely ambiance. The hospital has also been designated for the “Health Tour to Korea” initiative led by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
