1979. 05. 09 | Organized the founding committee of Daegu Oriental Medicine College.
 
1980. 09. 16 | Gained governmental approval of the establishment of Daegu Oriental Medicine college
1980. 12. 03 | Gained governmental approval of the establishment of the Je-Han Educational foundation.
Inaugurated Dr. Jeong-Hwan Byun the first Chairman of the Board of the foundation.
1981. 01. 10 | Inaugurated Dr. Hak-Su Wang, the first College Dean.
1981. 03. 05 | Enrolled 108 freshmen in Pre-Med Department of Oriental Medicine
1983. 03. 02 | Inaugurated Dr. Jeong-Hwan Byun, the second College Dean.
1983. 05. 26 | Opened Daegu Oriental Medical Center (Hospital) affiliated with Daegu Oriental Medicine College.
1983. 09. 03 | Inaugurated Dr. Hyo-Shin Kang, the third College Dean.
1983. 11. 20 | Gained governmental approval of the establishment of the Graduate School of the College.
1984. 08. 01 | Inaugurated Dr. Jae-Wan Shim, the fourth College Dean.
1986. 09. 01 | Inaugurated Dr. Jeong-Hwan Byun, the fifth College Dean.
1989. 03. 09 | Inaugurated Dr. Hee-Dae Lee, the sixth College Dean.
 
1990. 05. 30 | Established the Reserve Officers Training Corps program.
1990. 12. 01 | Expanded the college into a university system with the name of Kyungsan University.
1991. 03. 01 | Inaugurated Dr. Jeong-Hwan Byun, the 7th College Dean.
1992. 03. 13 | Inaugurated Dr. Jeong-Hwan Byun, the 1st President of the Kyungsan University.
1993. 08. 30 | Opened student dormitory.
1995. 04. 01 | Inaugurated Dr. Jeong-Hwan Byun, the 2nd President of the University.
1996. 01. 22 | Launched the system of 5 colleges: Korean Studies,
Humanities, Natural Sciences, Architecture, Oriental Medicine.
1997. 11. 05 | Introducted the faculty system.
1998. 06. 12 | Opened Gumi Oriental Medical Center (Hospital), affiliated with of the University.
1998. 07. 01 | Inaugurated Dr. Yong-Won Lee, the 3rd President of the University.
1999. 09. 16 | Opened the Daegu branch campus near the affiliated Daegu medical hospital.
 
2000. 03. 02 | Opened Academic Information Center.
2000. 04. 20 | Opened Pohang Oriental Medical Center (Hospital) affiliated with the University
2000. 09. 16 | Had the 20th Anniversary of the University
2001. 09. 16 | Had the 21st Anniversary of the University
2001. 09. 19 | Hosted the 1st International Oriental Medicine Expo.
2002. 03. 19 | Opened the 2nd dormitory.
2002. 05. 08 | Hosted the 2nd International Oriental Medicine Expo.
2002. 07. 01 | Inaugurated Dr. Byung-Tai Hwang, the 4th President of the University.
2002. 11. 25 | Hosted the 1st International Symposium on Globalization and Modernization of Oriental Medicine in Cooperation with the
Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, University of Minnesota,
and WHO.
 
2003. 04. 21 | Full-ranged reorganization of the colleges into College of Oriental Medicine,
College of Health and Welfare, College of Cultural Science,
College of Business and Information and College of Architecture and Digital Science.
2003. 05. 31 | Renamed into the Daegu Haany University.
2003. 06 | Restructured the Educational System to step forward 3T-specialized university.
2003. 06. 17 | Assigned as Research Center of Regional Cooperation(RRC) by MOST.
2003. 07. 08 | Established the Industrial Graduate School of Oriental Medicine.
2003. 07. 21 | Designated as a prominent university by MOE and Gained a financial aids.
2004. 05. 28 | Completed the Cosmetic Plant in form of Academic Corporation.
2004. 06. 01 | Launched Internet Broadcast Station.
2004. 06. 03 | Opened an Oriental Medical CTC subsidized by MOCIE.
2004. 06. 16 | Assigned to a beneficiary of NURI by MOE.
2004. 07 | Concluded an agreement for the cooperation between academy and local governments
(Andong, Mungyeong, Yeongyang, Sangju and Yeongcheon)
2004. 08. 02 | Selected as a Model Business Entity of Regional Innovation and Specialization(RIS) by MOCIE.
2004. 10. 07 | Concluded an agreement for the interchange and cooperation with Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical College, Japan.
